These brushcutting trousers feature front reinforcements and include impact-absorbing foam protection against possible non-violent projections of stones, soil or branches that may occur during brushcutting operations. Easy to clean.

FEATURES

  • Removable reinforcement with 5 mm foam at shin and knee level

  • VENTURI effect ventilation: lightweight breathable mesh at lower back, behind the knees and 4 rear ventilation zips

  • 2 zipped hand pockets

  • 1 zipped pocket on left thigh

  • Elasticated waistband

  • Wrap-around back bib

  • Zipped back pocket






COMPOSITION

  • Fabric – 240 g/m² water-repellent and stain-resistant (non-fluorinated hydrophobic finish), double-face construction:
    70% polyester on the outer face for mechanical resistance and 30% cotton on the inner face for comfort.

Mechanical properties:

  • Abrasion resistance EN ISO 12947-2:1999: 80,000 cycles

  • Tear resistance EN ISO 13937:2000: 40 N in warp and weft

  • Tensile strength: 1250 N (warp) and 1100 N (weft)

  • Lower leg reinforcement in high-tenacity polyamide 6.6 fabric – 245 g/m²

  • Hip and waistband fabric 260 g/m²: 94% Polyamide, 6% Elastane

  • 70 mm retro-reflective tape

PROTECTION PERFORMANCE

High-density polyethylene foam reinforcement (density 30 kg/m³), thickness 5 mm at knees and shins:

  • EN 13595-4:2002 – Impact cut resistance: Level 2 (≤ 25 mm)

  • EN 863 – Puncture resistance >150 N

  • Determination of impact force transmission according to EN 14021:2003 (off-road motorcycling stone guard standard): result < 27 kN
